This Master course is open to medical doctors, nurses, biologists, biotechnicians and
pharmacists that are interested in learning the specific skills required to become clinical
monitors within health care institutions - both public or private - and in pharmaceutical
companies.
Duration
The First Level Master Course in Clinical Research is a one-year course and requires full-time
attendance, with theory lessons and practical activities.

Subscription
Once admitted to the course, students should pay a registration fee to the Università
degli Studi di Milano.
Cultural and personal requirements for admission
The course is open to graduates in Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Chemistry,
Biotechnology, and to nurses and obstetricians.
Admission is based on qualification. Each candidate must undergo a written examination as
well as an interview. The candidate's curriculum vitae will also be evaluated.
Final examinations
Final examination consists of the presentation and discussion of a clinical research
protocol.
The completion of the Master Course results in 76 University Training Credits.
Certificate
In order to receive the Master's certificate, students will have to send a written request and to
pay €100,00 on the postal account n° 453274 (Università degli Studi di Milano).
