The Mario Negri Institute is part of SENDO, a non- profit Foundation made up
of members of the National Cancer Institute of Milan, the European Oncological Institute of Milan,
the Oncological Institute of Italian Switzerland and the Val D’Hebron Hospital of Barcelona. SENDO
sets up and verifies, on the pre-clinical and clinical level, development strategies for new anti
tumor drugs.
Sendo was was created thanks to the contribution of the Fondazione Italiana per la Ricerca
sul Cancro (FIRC) and is supported by the Swiss league, by the Edo Tempia Fund (Biella) and the
National Cancer Institute (Bethesda, MD, USA).
It is directed by Doctor Silvia Marsoni.
