Who can apply

Graduates (Bachelor or five-year degree or foreign title deemed equivalent) in scientific disciplines (or similar), and in particulara to doctors, biologists, biotechnologists, pharmacists, nurses, computer scientists and bioinformatics interested to gain specific knowledges and skills for the organization and coordination of clinical trials.

Course duration and description

The course lasts one year.

The program aims to transfer the theoretical and practical basis to learn how to set up a clinical study, choose the most appropriate methodology, plan a research protocol, coordinate the different phases of a clinical study, correctly interpret and disseminate the results of clinical trials.

At the end of the master, participants will be able to plan, coordinate and follow all phases of epidemiological studies and clinical trials, to critically analyze the results obtained and to communicate the results to the scientific community.

Course admission

Admission is by examination and is governed by a call for applications.

The candidate will take a written test in English and an oral interview before an examination committee.

Final examination

At the end of the Master’s degree each student will take an examination before a Commission composed of five teachers appointed by the Department. The examination will assess the skills acquired, also taking into account the traineeship activity.
