The Intradepartmental Center for Clinical Trial Monitoring supports the conduct of national and international clinical studies sponsored by the Department of Clinical Research in Oncology, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements, and quality standards applicable to clinical research.
The Center is composed of senior Clinical Monitors and Clinical Monitors in training who perform monitoring activities in support of the Department’s oncology research projects. Their responsibilities include clinical trial monitoring, verification of data quality and completeness, review of essential documentation, and support for investigational sites, thereby helping to ensure participant protection and the reliability of research outcomes.
The Center’s activities contribute to ensuring that clinical studies are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations and the quality standards required for clinical research.
